FAQs

What are live interactive classes? 

Using Zoom, an easy-to-use web conferencing site, we will stream live mat classes twice per day at set times. From the comfort of your home, you will be able to do a workout taught by your favorite instructor while having the option of interacting with them and other students in class.

What classes will be offered? 

All-levels mat Pilates, Barre, HIIT, and Restorative classes will be offered. Instructors will use a combination of demonstration and verbal cues, plus provide modifications and progressions. If you are visible on screen, they will offer form adjustments as needed. 

How many students will be in class? 

We are not limiting the number of students in class. Because we only offer 2 classes per day, we want to accommodate as many people as possible. 

What equipment will I need? 

A yoga mat and hand weights is ideal. You can also use a rug for a mat and water bottles or soup cans for hand weights. For Barre you can use the back of a couch or chair. 

What tech will I need? 

A free Zoom account, a high-speed internet connection and a computer, tablet or smart phone. 

How much do classes cost? 

$15 per class (your reformer class packages cannot be used for virtual classes). 

How do I pay, sign up, and access my class? 

You can pay and sign up using MindBody Online or the app as you always have. You will receive an email confirmation from FitGrid when you sign up, then a unique Zoom class link 60 minutes before class begins. IMPORTANT: Be sure to check your spam folder (hotmail users in particular). 

Is there a late cancellation policy & fee?

Yes. To respect our instructors’ time and effort, our late cancellation policy remains 24 hours. You will be charged the price of your class if you cancel with less than 24 hours notice. Classes will run with 1+ students. 

What’s the cutoff time for signing up for classes?

Classes will remain open for registration until 60 minutes before class begins. 

What if I don’t want to be seen on screen?

There are many settings on Zoom to accommodate your needs, including hiding video display of yourself so you can’t see it and/or so no one else can see it (directions are hyperlinked).  

Are any classes pre-recorded or “on demand”? 

No. We feel scheduling time for fitness is more important than ever. Live classes will most closely mirror the experience you’re used to at NBP—personalized, community-based learning with expert, real-time instruction.

Can my family and/or friends watch the live stream with me?

Your unique class link is just for you. This is a time for self care and “you time.” We ask that you please do not share your screen or the class link with anyone or record your session.

Where can I provide feedback?

After your class concludes you will be prompted to leave feedback. These helpful reviews will be shared with instructors anonymously, so please be as honest as possible. Your encouraging words and constructive commentary inspire us to create the best program possible.
